I need to be able to spawn in many objects at a time and it currently makes a lot of noise. Please add the functionality to disable the "ding" sound that comes with spawning in an object as a parameter to the spawnObject() function.

I figured out a way to work around this. The "ding" sound is local to the object, so if you spawn the object really far away and then setPosition() it back in a few frames later, no "ding" is audible.
"If an object spawns in a game and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"
It does add unnecessary slowdowns though.

That's a cute trick. Does it work if you put the setPosition() in the creation callback or do you need to wait a few frames beyond that?

You have to wait until the "ding" sound stops playing unfortunately. I still want this suggestion in the game.

I agree, it would be nice. I currently am setting up hidden custom model bags just to get silent "spawns", which is a lot of workaround

I've run into another project that could benefit from getting this ding removed. I often find myself trying to work around it with custom infinite bags and the like but it isn't always possible

I have a number of spawning dice mods (and I know Stump has as well) and the "ding dingh ding ding ding" is annoying AF!!!
