View Full Version : The ability to turn off collision between objects

It would be nice to have an implementation of Physics.IgnoreCollision (https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Physics.IgnoreCollision.html)(Object obj1, Object obj2, bool ignore).

I have a couple objects jointed using scripts and it currently only works without exploding if you lock everything. This means you cannot pick it up and move it around like a regular object.

I was just trying to figure out how to do this earlier and failed horribly. smoothmoving objects it gets shut off so I thought it would be part of the core/base/physics functions. Glad I found this so I can stop trying to figure out how to make all my objects "ghosts" =)
