What game mode would you like to see in the game?

Hey guys, since we made our first stretch goal of "3 new game modes voted by the community", please post what games you'd like to see in the game.
When making your choice, please remember copyright and trademark rules as certain games (like Monopoly, Scrabble, etc) cannot be put into the game. So do your research before making your choice!

At the end of the Kickstarter, we'll choose the top games, create a poll ,and from there you'll choose the top 3 games that will be implemented into Tabletop Simulator.

As always, thanks so much for your support. You're awesome!

I'd like to echo the suggestion (I believe it was in RPS) that Piecepack (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2860/piecepack) be one of the modes. It is in the public domain and has 100+ games designed for the system. That would be quite a lot of gaming for a small amount of content.

Edit: A couple of important additions, especially for tile-based modes, are snapping and locking. Edge-to-edge snapping and stack snapping will help with setup and play, and the ability to lock tiles and other pieces to the play surface will make sure the physics doesn't get in the way of the fun.

I'd like to see old hex-based games like Steve Jackson's Fantasy Trip Melee, Wizard or Ogre.

I like to get together with family and play some card games that are house rules. Now that some of us are older, it's harder to get together because of families and children. This kind of game would help a lot, so I signed up on kickstarter.

I was hoping that the custom game mode could be expanded to include creating card games that have kitties, bidding, partners, and scoring rules. Other enhancements would include poker chips and custom card decks (where we can import our own cards or graphics of cards). I am a software engineer, so I don't mind coding or if you allowed modding; I'm asking for the tools to do this even if you can't do my family game directly. Is this something I can vote for?

    Really excited about your title.

I doubt Fantasy Flight would be on board, but I would LOVE to see Arkham Horror.

Adding a few effects would make it an awesome game, eg. animated minis for the monsters/players/gates etc.

I'd really like to see mahjong added with the tiles and tools to play the different variations of the game (such as the additional season and flower tiles or the different nominations of scoring sticks). There are hardly any decent mahjong games in the west, so it'd be nice to see. Having the tiles in the game could also allow for people to create mahjong solitaire games if they're into that.

I'd like a variation on monopoly.

just copying the idea i suggested on a steam discussion.

You remember that tank mini-game in the game 'Wii Play'? I'm thinking of something like that, with controllable/possess-able tanks like in the game and possibly have set arenas, as well as being able to destroy it all (possibly include destroyable blocks) and build your own.

Support for http://wtactics.org/ and other CCGs would be wonderful. The sorts of games where you have your own individual decks where the other player isn't necessarily aware of the composition. If this isn't already planned, anyway.

    Mouse Trap.

    Mancala!

This probably won't fly because it's licensed or something, but Ghosts.

Being able to put custom faces on dice would be a neat addition (or is that possible in "sandbox" mode?) to play things like Steve Jackson Games "Zombie Dice".

    I would like to suggest:
    Air Hockey
Cards against Humanity if possible (or at least allow players to import customized playing cards with text, maybe it could work with the "Pretend You're Xyzzy" as a front end).

I would also like things like
Jenga like, but those would require for more precise control of physical objects (imagine holding a modifying key so pushing F will only flip the object by 90 degrees instead of 180.

I'd love to see the old Milton Bradley game crossfire done, or at least some kind of clone of it. It seems like the physics can handle it.

    Cat mode.

    Whiteboard mode. Particularly on gameboards/tiles.

A simple room environment around the table that you can customize, like Knights of Pen & Paper? Good for ambiance and synergizes well with whiteboard mode - bored players can scribble on the walls while waiting for their turn.

Another vote for monopoly (and I would appreciate having a UK version, maybe some other localised versions of this)

A version of risk might be good as well.

I vote for Hanafuda, it's a traditional Japanese card game.
The rules are simple, and the cards are beautiful.

Hanafuda would be nice, but I believe Mahjong would be better.

I would like to see a version of Crokinole.

I really would like to see a Jenga-style game added. During play the temptations to just destroy the tower would be so overwhleming.

    I'd like an Uno-esque game

Uno-esque game I definitely agree. Another game that would be fun would be a scrabble clone. You already have the 'cards in hand' feature that you could use with letter pieces and it would definitely be enjoyable to play on this platform.

Other suggestions are more 'casino themed' tables and games, where all players have designated areas for chips and cards like so

Perhaps even a roulette table and wheel would be enjoyable to play!

I second the Piecepack and CCG suggestions.

I'm going to agree with Golbez in post 5. If Fantasy Flight Games would be ok with it, I'd love Arkham Horror. I'd even pay extra for Arkham, and any other FFG games, as would my roommates and a few friends. We're trying to find a way to play with people in different states, countries, and continents, and this would very much work for us.

Looked into Piecepack and I agree with you guys. Bang for buck nothing will give more games to play. Piecepack will be the first new game mode

    2 more to choose!
