    Asset bundle shader options?

    I'm still fairly new when it comes to asset bundles and unity. As I understand it, I cannot use custom shaders because of cross platform issues. I wonder, then, if anyone would know how I might get an additive blended material with a falloff gradient (as in a gradient that is white as a fragments faces the camera and is black facing parallel to the camera) multiplied on top.

    I'd prefer the material to be multiplied by the in game color of the object as well.

    Can such a thing be done without a custom shader?

    Looking for some folks to test this material: if you use something other than windows, can you give this a try?
