Issue with textures and previews of saved objects not loading

I have had this issue for some time and a clean install of TTS does not help as I have done it a few times. When I open my saved objects I just see a bunch of question marks. This worked at one time and its been so long since it has worked properly I don't remember if I had done something to TTS prior to it not working. Now to make matters worse the only games that work properly now are the ones that came with TTS. Anything from the workshop just shows everything as blank white and the loading progress at the top does not move.

I am using Windows 10 and am on my custom Desktop so I know the hardware probably isn't the cause.

    Please halp.

    Hello!

Try disabling your anti-virus and launch the game and see how it goes. Do you have a firewall? Also try running /resetallsaved (this removes all control settings)

Let me know how it goes.

I disabled my antivirus and firewall as well as did resetallsaved and restarted the game and it still looks the same.

You probably already have but take a quick read of this guide and see if any of those solutions help.

    Hi

Try removing the folder and do a integrity check on steam to see if the issue resolves.

    C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator

that did not work either unfortunately.
tts.jpg This is what my screen looks like when I load anything from the workshop if that helps.

so I have an update. I went through the list again and decided to stop on the debugging portion and found that the -nothreading option allows me to see text and textures now. However I still have an issue that has been plaguing me for literally over a year with TTS in that I cannot see saved objects previews.
This is what is looks like now

    Hi

Glad you came to a solution. Do your Save Objects in your Tabletop Data Directory (C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Saves\Saved Objects) have any images attached in there?

    Example:
I have a Save Object called
    Card.json
You should also have a image called
    card.png

Let me know how it goes
    Regards

yes each item has an accompanying image that is the same file name with .png at the end. looking at the pictures they are correct.

Necroing this post as I still have not resolved this. Attempting to resolve this myself I have discovered a few things.
    1. When unable to load into a hosted game, if the host reloads the game as just a plain default TTS table I can get in just fine and when the host loads in the table and assets it will cause me to get kicked out after about a minute.
    2. Using mod threading being activated I can get in the hosted game just fine but the loading progression at the top is stuck at 1/9 or some number that is not finished and I do not get disconnected. With this setting I cannot see any textures such as the map or pictures like on a custom figurine.
    3. The people I am playing with report my ping to be maxed at 999 before I disconnect
    4. After I am disconnected the textures all load just fine and I can see everything I am supposed to but the disconnection has already happened.
This is what it looks like when I have mod threading deactivated and I have been disconnected.

more updates. I logged into my wifes computer and loaded TTS on my steam profile and everything worked perfectly. This removes quite a few possible issues. It removes the possibility that these issues are in any way related to my network and it removes the possibility that the issues are related to my steam profile.
All thats left is somehow my computer is unable to save/load files to where they need to go in order to load a hosted game.
With this new information I tried changing the permissions so I had full access to both my C: and E: drives which store TTS assets and TTS respectively.
Unfortunately this did not help fix anything.
Any input here would be greatly appreciated.
