Here's a video overview: https://youtu.be/W4J5HPWuhLg

The boids mod I did recently got me interested in what you could do with 3D physics in TTS. So I made flying, missile-shooting robots that can shoot each other and the boids (and the boids will explode). Because, why not?

Mod is here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=753428011

The mod includes the life-like boids from the previous mod (with improvements), and BattleTech Mechs (yes, I know they're not supposed to fly) as the flying robots. Orbiting planets/obstacles included for good measure. The boids eat food to gather resources and add shots to your ship. They also eat each other if they wander close enough, and take resources from the losing player. Ships have numerous controls, and can shoot missiles which damage other ships and destroy boids (with an explosion!). Some sound effects as well.

Watch the video for a basic overview of the controls. The rings and buttons in the mod also have descriptions that can help you or remind you.

You can add/delete boids, obstacles and ships to create your own setup. See the end of the video for an example. You can even run with ships-only (1 per player, max 4 players) or with boids-only (as many as your computer can handle), or any combination.

Let me know if you get any crashes/Lua errors. It seems to be relatively stable, but can error out if you get too many events happening in a single frame.
